Graduate Work Stream

Graduate work visa is valid for 18 months and to qualify, students:

  1. Must meet Australian study requirements;
  2. Nominate an occupation on relevant skill shortage list that closely relates to that qualification;
  3. Have skills assessment for the nominated occupation; and
  4. Meet all of the policy requirements.

Post-Study Work Stream

Work visa under post-study work visa stream is valid for 2 years to 4 years (Bachelor and Masters by Coursework 2 years, Masters by Research 3 years, Doctoral 4 years) and students:

  1. Should have recently completed Bachelor Degree, Masters or Doctoral Degree;
  2. Must meet Australian study requirements; and
  3. Must meet all of the policy requirements.

Skilled - Recognised Graduate Visa

Skilled recognised graduate visa is valid for 18 months and to qualify students must:

  1. Have completed eligible Engineering qualification from a recognised institution in the past two years;
  2. Be Aged 30 years or under;
  3. Not have previously held this visa or Graduate Work Visa; and
  4. Meet all of the policy requirements.
