Skilled Independent Visa

Skilled Independent visa is a two-step, points based invitation only permanent resident visa and you can live, work and settle anywhere in Australia. You do not need to be nominated by state or territory government or sponsored by a relative. To qualify you must be

• aged between 18 and 44 years;
• must nominate an occupation on relevant skilled occupation list;
• have positive skills assessment for your nominated occupation;
• score at least 65 marks on points table;
• submit Expression of Interest (EOI) under SkillSelect;
• meet health, character and English language requirements;
• be invited to apply for resident visa.

EOIs are pooled and highest scoring EOIs are selected from the pool periodically. EOIs remain in the pool earlier of selection or 2 years from submission. Selection points (pass marks) vary according to the number of annual places available and selection of EOIs in high demand occupations are pro-rated to ensure selections throughout the year. We provide comprehensive service and will arrange your skills assessment, submit EOI, submit your RV application on receipt of ITA and liaise with your case officer throughout the processing period until receipt of visa decision. Skilled Independent (New Zealand Stream) Visa

This Visa Is Closed For New Applicants From 1 July 2023.

With the introduction of Australian Citizenship for New Zealand citizens living in Australia for at least 4 years, the Skilled Independent (New Zealand Stream) Visa has been discontinued effective from 1 July 2023.

Skilled Nominated Visa

Skilled Nominated Visa is also a permanent resident visa and to qualify applicants must meet the following requirements:

• aged between 18 and 44 years;
• must nominate an occupation on relevant skilled occupation list;
• have positive skills assessment for your nominated occupation;
• score at least 65 marks on points table;
• must be nominated by an Australian state or territory government agency;
• submit Expression of Interest (EOI) under SkillSelect;
• meet health, character and English language requirements;
• be invited to apply for resident visa.

States have their own occupation list (within the Federal List) and prescribed criteria for nomination. While this is a permanent resident visa you need to commit to live in the nominating state or territory for at least 2 years.

Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa

Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa provides pathway to secure permanent resident visa for skilled workers after living and working in regional Australia. The visa is valid for 5 years and skilled workers can apply for permanent resident visa after 3 years. To qualify, skilled workers need to meet the following requirements:

• be aged between 18 and 44 years;
• nominate an occupation on relevant eligible skilled occupations list;
• have positive skills assessment for your nominated occupation;
• score at least 65 points;
• must be nominated by an Australian state or territory government agency or sponsored by an eligible relative;
• submit Expression of Interest (EOI) under SkillSelect;
• meet health, character and English language requirements;
• be invited to apply for this visa.

Permanent Resident (Skilled Regional) Visa

This visa provides permanent residence to holders of Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa as well as holders of Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa. To qualify, provisional visa holders must:

• have lived in the designated area for at least three years;
• have total income at or above the specified income threshold for at least three years; and
• complied with the conditions of provisional visa;
• meet health and character requirements.
