Requirements For Straight To Residence Visa

Migrants need to meet the following requirements to qualify for a straight to residence visa:

• Need to be aged 55 years or under;
• Must have a job offer from or currently be employed with an accredited employer, in an occupation on Tier 1 of the Green List;
• Job offer or employment must be for a full-time and permanent job or for at least a 12-month fixed-term contract;
• Job offer or employment must be paid at or above the specified salary ($136,739 annual as on 17 Dec. 2024);
• Independent contractors with 10 years experience, paid at $98.62 per hour and have a minimum 6 months contract may also qualify;
• Meet health, character, and English language requirements.
